Derived from the active OPERA Series the OPERA Passive range sets new standards in performance and design. These passive loudspeakers retain all of the design and performance characteristics of the active range but offer the additional flexibility of a passive design.

dB Technologies SUB12 PX Passive Subwoofer
With an RMS input power of 400 watts and a passive crossover at 150 Hz, the SUB12PX is the best choice for combinations with our passive OPERA or TWIN models, or with any power-amplifier/mixer. The SUB12PX is very suitable for fixed installations, where no active components will be utilized.

The passive version of the very successful SUB12 is without a doubt one of the most powerful and compact subwoofers on the market.
This bandpass subwoofer, with 12" dBTechnologies Woofer and 2.5" coil, supplies up to 124 dB SPL, at a weight of only 17 kg. Using the Neutrik-Speakon4 connector, input to the internal crossover is on tips 1+/1-, using 2+/2- on the parallel Neutrik makes connecting additional subwoofers possible.
By using the integrated mounting pole adaptor on the top, a satellite speaker can be supported.
A single SUB12 PX with its very dry, powerful bass sound, is ideal in combinations with TWIN208 or OPERA 201, a pair of SUB12PX should support OPERA 302/305.
